I have lived in California the majority of my life and have never been to San Fran. I had to work there one weekend so we made it a family weekend of fun.We spent the majority of the time walking around pier 39. We watched the sea lions for quite a while. Davis was in heaven. They were so playful, pushing each other off the docks and making a lot of noise. Davis was cracking up!! Then we went on the marry go around. The highlight was of course Ghiradelli square. I had the best chocolate shake I have ever tasted. It was so rich and delicious. Davis got mint chip ice-cream and loved every second of it. When it was melted she still would not let me take it from her. After such a crazy few months it was nice to get to have that time as a family enjoying our beautiful state. Also that weekend we were able to make a trip the Oakland temple. we walked around the visitors center with Davis and watched the movies. As we walked in Davis runs up to the huge statue of Christ and tells everyone how Jesus has ouchies on his hands and feet. It was adorable.
Don't look at the camera please

Burning off the 40,000 calories from the chocolate shake
This is the first Cousin sleepover at Grandma's house. Seth and Ava came over and we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and they got to drink a lot of juice. When it was time for bed we got them all in their sleeping bags and their new sleep over pj's. We put Tangled the tv. Everything went like clock work until little sethy woke up at about 1 am and wanted Ryan. We tried to console him but we ended up calling Ryan and drove over to snuggle with sethy for the rest of the night. In the morning we all had waffles and everything was peachy.
